A Foundation Donates $10,000 to the Staying Alive Foundation
The IA Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and communities through various charitable initiatives, recently donated $10,000 to the Staying Alive Foundation. As a Platinum sponsor for their recent launch event, the IA Foundation contributed to their efforts to create three Heart Safe Communities. On hand to present the cheque to Max Dagenais, founder of the Staying Alive Foundation, was IA Authorised Representative Amanda Smith of Optimum Insurance.
The Staying Alive Foundation, a global charity organisation, aims to raise awareness and education to prevent sudden cardiac death out-of-hospital through education, training, and donation and placement of defibrillators in public places. With the IA Foundation's donation, the Staying Alive Foundation will be able to donate a defibrillator & cabinet combo to three communities, including a couple of schools and one community.
The defibrillator & cabinet combo will be accompanied by a lifesaving demonstration and guidance on how to use the defibrillator and perform CPR in emergency situations.
The IA Foundation is proud to support the Staying Alive Foundation's mission and believes that this initiative will help save lives and positively impact the communities that will receive the defibrillators. The IA Foundation encourages other organisations and individuals to support the Staying Alive Foundation and help create more Heart Safe Communities across Australia.
